I got home Thursday night to find that I had no phone since Wednesday afternoon, because my soon to be ex-spouse was kind enough to cancel our phone service. I spent all day yesterday getting it reconnected. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!:mad:

Of course, there is the painfully obvious fact that your shoes and your haircut are just SO last month. . . :P

It is a fact that my haircut is not only last month, it is actually about a month overdue for a thorough cutting. And, my sandals fell apart at the beginning of last week, in the middle of a shallow river. The only shower available for a week was a small, public thingy, with a line a mile long, so I had only two showers the entire week (when we went to eat at the local restaurants, I think the staff were afraid of us (we looked the part of derelicts). :hippie:

they don't seem to want to discuss anything. They were, I will admit, happy to see Daddy after I was gone for a week, but I think that they developed a real liking for the student who took care of them (buncha turncoats). And as far as the :hippie: is concerned, there are parts of that that I will never give up.
Jealousy? I'm so old that I actually care nowadays about how I look and smell, and while being in camp is OK, being in the public after coming from 7 or 8 hours of standing in water up to your thighs and sweating like a horse, is no longer really appealing to me. I think that the cats actually thought that a new, improved model of the mobile litter box walked through the door when I first got home (my first act upon doing so was to take an hour long shower, because I felt like a grease pan). It is comforting to know that there are more of us here.:hi:
