in DU, all you need to do is go to "Options" and then "Edit Preferences" ...
one of the last preferences is:
Are you using Internet Explorer and wish to view DU in large fonts? Selecting "yes" will display DU in large fonts
that should change the font size while you're on DU ...
now, for IE, the answer is a little more involved ...
there are actually two settings you need to understand, not just one ...
first, on the "View" menu, go to "Text Size" and select the text size you prefer ... this may work on some web pages but will not work on pages where the font size is explicitly set by the web developer ... e.g., if the page calls for a font size of 8, you'll get 8 regardless of what text size you selected ...
so, to have your "text size" preference override the stated size for any given page, you need to set the second setting ... to do this, go to "tools", then "internet options" and then click the "accessibility" button ... click the box for the third option which reads "ignore font sizes specified on web pages" ... this allows your "text size" preference to take effect ... click "OK" and you should see the text size you requested ...
I use this setting only when I really don't like the font size on a page (usually because it's too small) ... otherwise, i turn the setting off ... it can really make a mess of things ...
hope this helps ...
