Gal's got balls!

I was listening to WPR (WREN madison, your home for NPR news and classical music) and "What do you know?" was on... This woman from Harvard Ill. had the balls to say, on wisconsin radio, that illinois is the dairy state. WHAT? There are more dairy cows in wisconsin then there are people! There are at least 5 cows for every 1 person, I'm sure.
And what was her reasoning? "we have the 'milk days' festival. The longest dairy festival..." HELLO, every day is milk day in wisconsin! We have cheese and dairy stores everywhere in town!

Oh well, the crowd booed her and she got served on npr.

Moral: don't diss the dairy state.

I go to Madison yearly to attend spiritual gatherings, and always look forward to buying some good Wisconsin cheese to snack on during the trip back to Arkansas. My greetings to you! If you attend the Dances of Universal Peace meetings in the area, give everyone there my warmest regards.

2. I heard that! I also know that California has been trying to make that

claim (as "THE" dairy state) as well..... I have to say that even if some state in the future produces 100 times the milk as Wisconsin, that they would be unlikely to take that title! That lady had guts, though...
