What's the oldest thing in your fridge or freezer?
Would you throw it out or eat it?

I have some chicken that's been in the freezer for about 2 years...and, lots of other stuff dating back 5 years or so.

I hope to defrost the freezer next week. I guess I should throw most of the stuff out (freezer burn or not) if it's 10 years old or older, eh?

What about you?

:-)

1. Frozen chimichangas
Going on Year 5. I was going to toss it a couple years ago, then decided to make it an artifact.

Thanks for the reminder. And, no, I wouldn't eat him.

5. The freezer had a little purge recently
...but in the fridge is a jar of mint jelly. I know it was in the fridge when I moved in back in Denver...and it was moved twice since then. That would make it at least eight years old, possibly more. :)

15. There's a greenish grey thing in the back
I think it used to be a vegetable but now I classify it as a mold or mildew because the pathogen count is greater than the original object.

I was going to get it out the other day but it moved on its own and I'm :scared:.
