Why don't "I" understand money?

I just found out I don't have enough money to get thorught emonth.

Ank is deamdning shrimp.

(on edit, including title change)

It seems perfectly obvkious to me. I'm a salaried employee. My employer takes deducstion for blue cross etc. Tehse have gone up.

The price of gas has jumped dramatically. Everything requiring tansport etgg. food has gone up as a result.

I used to have $200-300 slack in the budget. that's all gone. Ank is on Atkins, which means we have to buy expensvie protein instead of cheap carbs.

He won't eat:

cheap salmon
cheap pork
cheap ham
cheap bacon
cheap cheese

Now nothing will do but he has to have shrimp.

I sympathize with the poster - I, too, have an inadequate understanding of (and/or pirahna like willingness to engage in) supply side economics.
