So who's read Foucault's Pendulum?
I'm halfway through it, and it's quite good, I'm just starting to get curious if it all leads somewhere and wraps up. No spoilers please.

It's a fun ride. Bit to "post-modern" for my taste....but I won't spoil your fun. It's a great read...

It's a great read. I suppose it "wraps up", as much as a book like that can. Enjoy!! It's my favorite Eco.

4. Also thought Name of the Rose was better.
But Foucault's Pendulum was quite a ride as well. Have his last two books, as well, but haven't read either yet. I have quite a backlog of books to read right now.

8. I like Robert Anton Wilson very much...
Prometheus Rising baby... a cat named Schrodinger... Name of the Rose was pretty cool, but for me personally, Focault's Pendulum touches more of a good vibration.. but it's all good. Read read read.

5. One of my favorite books... of course I was also reading Carl Jung
at the same time... All of Jung's stuff about alchemy... And yes, the book is flawless in the ending...

but I didn't like it. The first half was good, & the finish was good, but I lost interest for most of the middle. Not read "In the Name of the Rose", but I much prefered Baudalino.

7. Wow! All I can say is that I'm glad all of you enjoyed it
I read it. Up there with Contact by Carl Sagan as less fun than major dental surgery.
