I'm kind of sad that the Class of 2004 has graduated from our high school. Many of them were great kids.

But now, it's our turn. WE are the class of 2005. We are still juniors for a few days, but Thursday is our last day. In a few months, we will be Seniors. Sweet.

I have band, AP Government, argumentative and persuasive writing, public speaking, and other classes coming next year, so I'm not loightening my load (I'm adding load, actually). Wish me luck as I try to ward off senioritis, especially late in the year.

What was your senior year like, academically, athletically, socially, etc.?

1. It was alright. I was achievement driven
I didn't really have that many classes. I took pre calculus, English, Chemistry, band, and must have taken something else at high school. I also took two college classes both semseters, a year of Italian, psychology, and environmental science. I was a kindergarten aid on my non college days in the morning.
I participated in the extra band stuff like solos and honors band, quiz bowl, National Honor society, church stuff, cross country, and track.
I was the top runner on the cross country team and top distance runner in track. I set the school cross country record as well as broke my own record in track. I won several races, did well at conference, but narrowly missed state in both sports.
I did not date anyone except go to prom with a friend of a friend. I didn't do very much socially outside of school aside from a few parties which I didn't drink at. I was too busy with all my activities and applying for and getting into college.
I was so happy to graduate from high school and get onto college and my adult life.

2. class of 75 don't take no jive!
:-) You probably have no idea what I'm talking about :-)

My senior year was fun.. I kept the academics and activities up so I wasn't one of those that loafed the last year.

I loved High School and I hope you have a great senior year! It's one of the best times of your life - make the best of it!
