For the Birdie Lovers/Experts...........
Notice my Tiel, Murphee, is losing small little feathers.

Gave her a little shower today, I wonder if she was loving it? it was like she was spreading her wings and fluffing up and bending her body asking me to spray her some more. It seemed to give her some relief?

is this normal? :D Give her more showers this time of year?

1. She's probaby molting
Nothing to worry about in general. And I bet she loved the shower, because molting can make them kind of itchy. Buster says HI:hi:

3. My mother's cockatiel loved showers
They moult at this time of year and maybe the water makes them feel good. The little thing would go right into the shower with her too - she had a window and it would sit on the sill and enjoy the spray.

I agree with them. That's great that Murphee loves being sprayed; I've had birds who hated it. My parrotlet, Grace, loves it when we give her a big seed cup full of water (with no seed, of course) that she can bathe in. She jumps right in, goes in and out getting herself wet.

Grace says, "Hi Murphee!" :hi:

Edited to add: When the weather gets really hot, birds often like their bath or shower to cool off.

9. Thank you, DK.
I'll tell Grace you said so. She'll eat it right up. :-)
