Poll question: Best Meryl Streep film?

Despite the disappointingly large number of garbage films she did in the '90s, Meryl Streep remains one of my all-time favorite ladies of the silver screen. Let's see how DU ranks her best films!

Unfortunately, due to the restricted number of choices, I was only able to list what I consider Ms. Streep's best films through 1995, hence the exclusion of such later (and very good) candidates as "Marvin's Room" and "Dancing at Lughnasa." But you can always write in a film that's not listed!

7. Out of Africa is a better film, but Sophie's Choice is the greatest
performance by an actress, man or woman, in the history of cinema. Meryl Streep is the Michelangelo of thespians.

12. Never liked Meryl Streep
But she was was very charming in the Albert Brooks movie Defending Your Life. Otherwise she just always seems to have that "I'm going to cry any second" face on...drives me nuts
