Who else is #$^@$#&^#&% sick of deleting virus-laden emails?!?
I feel like my computer bought a season's pass to an unregulated Thai brothel...

:argh:

1. Not me. What virus laden e-mails?
Between Netscape, Norton, and my Internet provider, I haven't seen any. I get several e-mails a day from friends and some junk mail too -all clean.
Now at work it's a different story. I don't have control of how things are setup there. Between mis-setup fire walls to the outside world, e-mail servers that won't pass most attachments, needed or not and our computers sitting basically naked behind the firewall, it has been fun. We have Mcafee, which always seems to be a step or two behind Norton. And Mcafee updates are usually a week after the fact. MSBlaster.exe hit almost every computer.

2. Last night at work, I received a stream of emails

...repeating over and over again. It was actually five or so that just keep coming. No content, by the time I shut the mail off there were a hundred and forty or so copies of these messages. They were coming in too fast to delete. I never opened them. I was purchasing medical articles from elsevier and some other site Journal of Internal Medicine right before it happened. I gave them my email address on a secure server. Whats next?

This is second virus to get on our LAN in about a year. My bosses laptop went down with a virus two days ago when he plugged directly into the net.

3. I don't get any.
My personal e-mail server has good spam and virus filters. My company used to get bombarded with viruses but they have changed their server and so I don't get them from there either any more. I'm feeling left out.
