There is a Freeper type here that joined the National Guard because he missed playing soldier: he was a peacetime marine; no Iraq I, Grenada, Panama etc.

During the 2000 election, he got so pissed at me that he suggested that I and all of the other "LIBBIES" should have that tatooed on our forheads so the real Americans like him and his NRA buddies could keep track of us. So now I am practicing a little "turnabout is fair play," by keeping him updated on everything new regarding National Guard and Reservists going off to "Big Sandy."

Here's my latest:

"Dude, when your new equipment shows up, I hope it's forest cammo, not tan, which will mean you're off to 6 months in Boznia, not 12 in 'Big Sandy!' "

just what the President Select REALLY thinks about the military, how he's cutting VA benefits by the billions and opposing the miniscule increase in soldier's monthly benefits, as well as the fact that he, and every one in his inner circle except for Powell, is a draft dodger who never spent one day in military service, who had daddy get him a nice cushy position in the Texas Air National Guard which he then saw fit to go AWOL from, leaving the real fighting to the ordinary riffraff, that Cheney had "other priorities" during Vietnam, etc., etc. And that many of the so-called "soft on defense" Dems, including Kerry (who was given the Congressional Medal of Honor for his Vietnam service), actually served in the military. You know, little, trivial, inconsequential things like that.
