1. stop me if I"m wrong
but one friend used to annoy me endlessly by repeating the line "suck my dog's d*ck", which he swore was from a real song. he said he heard it somewhere, and I never knew where, and then one of my other friends told me it was wesley willis. Is this the guy?

3. Probably
He's in heaven now and, I hope, whipping a donkey's ass.

We'll miss you, Wes!

4. The very same.
Willis can never be called the most talented songwriter of all time, but he occupied a certain bizarre place in the hearts of many and will be missed.

5. Very sad
I never could decide if Wesley was being exploited or not, until I met him. I then realised he would probably have been dead or institutionalised if he wasn't doing his music, and all those around him seemed to love him dearly. And they certainly weren't in it for the money. So long, Wesley, I'm so glad managed to make your life bring joy to you and so many others, despite the obstacles in your way.

:(

6. this is a drag
Wesley truly made the best of the crappy hand he was dealt in life.

Oh well; hopefully he gives St. Peter a head-butt on his way through the pearly gates.

Gonna miss ya, Wes.

7. Holy shit!
I used to see him every day as I walked to the el, sitting and painting at the corner of Milwaukee, Damen and North (the trendy triangle, as we like to call it). I used to speak to him often. Sometimes he was coherent, sometimes not. But he was almost always nice to me.

8. I have a few stories
I saw him on stage once and he wet himself and lashed out at the crowd.
My friend met him once and he got headbutted and then ended up going to a party with him.
Wesley Willis's greatest song--"Chickencow."

9. I haven't heard "Chickencow," but . . .
I can't believe it is better than "Outburst" and "Aftab Noorani."

10. Aww.... Rock Over London....
Wesley used to crack me up when he said that. I used to work for a radio show called 'Rock Over London,' and those of us in the office used to get a kick out of it.

RIP, Wesley.

11. "They threw me out of church..."
My kids turned me on to WW. Upon hearing this track I doubled over convulsing with laughter. I don't play it too often because the same thing always happens. You know the deal... grab the sides, remove the glasses, fall on the floor and laugh! RIP Wesley!

12. "Cut The Mullet..."
"Get the rat's nest off your head
Get that crazy-ass mother off your skull
Take your ass to the barber shop
Tell the barber that you're sick of looking like an asshole"

Too damn funny!
