Here's a poser for ya
If you could own any one thing in the universe (past or present,besides people) for 24 hours, what would it be, and why?

Me, a UFO. Not your mistakenly reported Venus sighting, but a real alien to earth powered spaceship. Intersteller travel rocks, besides, I might just get stuck in an uber-cool civilized galaxy when my day is over :evilgrin:

2. A printer that printed faster than this one does, and didn't come up
with stupid spool error messages all the time. Brand new Hewlett Packard Photosmart piece of shit!!! Why am I up working this late??? Because of my printer....oh yeah, and DU too. :7

How about commandeering the entire Chicago Sun-Times printing press and get ALL your printing done in minutes? (I've been to their plant, it's quite impressive, it's also where I got my cover page saying GORE WINS!, aren't you jealous?)

Excellent choice, and I am in complete agreement if people were an option, but you can't own anyone. :shrug:

My rules are a bitch sometimes.

Liberal as I am, I'd rule my own country with an iron fist!

edit: Make that a detachable fist, like in Enter the Dragon and Kentucky Fried Movie! :7

Fanfic-fans should know what this is. It's the thing that allows you to get into your favorite fictional universe in any storyline you want. I want a Plotbunny with infinite uses, so I could enter many different fictions and set up the situations I'd like to see happen.

Wouldn't that also have the added benefit of extending your "24 hours" into infinity? As long as you didn't travel further than 24 hours into the future, you could use it forever.

I'd like to own the earth for 24 hours...I could expel Shrub from office and put Gore in, and make sure that Shrub stays in exile while I make a list of other stuff I want, and have it delivered to me and I can keep it...whaddya think of that?
