OW OW OW My back really hurts! Make it stop!
I don't know if it was from sleeping funny (for all two hours) on Friday night, or from moving equipment, or from the gig on Friday, but my upper left back and neck really hurt. I can move my head about an inch or less in any direction before it starts to hurt. Of course, it basically hurts even when I'm not moving my head. I've applied heat in various places (on my back and neck, pervert), but no luck yet. Suggestions?

1. That's serious
lots of anti-inflammatory, ice not heat, and you may need to get a prescription for muscle relaxant tomorrow.

2. Go to a chiropractor Monday
They can tell just what you've done to your back and if a vertabrae is out of adjustment, they can fix it.

4. this may sound odd, but I have had neck pain like that from
sinus infections. Do you have allergies?

5. Sometimes, but nothing too extreme.
Large concentrations of dust, and the usual pollen stuff. Seeing as how I spend most of my time inside, though, I don't think that's it.

6. you might be surprised, I was amazed the first time neck pain
was diagnosed as a sinus infection. You can have a low grade infection for months before it flairs up
