So what are your friend's nicknames?
I figure we could hear alot of cool ones here.

For me there's:

Chris - Everyone calls him "the wop" he's only 1/4 Italian but he looks like he's straight off the boat from siciliy.

Darrell - "Two Beer Darrell" or "Two Beer" stems from an incident when we all were drinking at age 14.

Wade - well, everyone calls him "Darth Wader" Or "Skinner" cause that's what his Dad always called him

Another Chris - He's a big guy, reminds me of Moose from Archie. Everyone calls him "Brew"

Kurt - He's an electrician and his last name is Sparks...so "Sparky is obvious.

Allen - "Yeti" I still don't know why.

Then there's me I have two "Nutter" and "Deadeye", which stems from an incident from a BB gun.

1. My sons
My oldest is "Giggles" and my youngest is "Chuckles"

Everyone at the ball field knows my youngest as "Cheeks". That is the funniest. When he first suited up for t-ball, his uniform made him look like a pint-sized pro player. His little gut hung over the beltline and his cheeks stuck out like he had a wad of chew on each side. Now whenever he belts one into the outfield all the parents yell "CHEEKS!!!!" at the top of their lungs...

5. My fave
(though not a friend anymore) was in college... 4 Jameses living on the same floor. 2 went by last names, and one of them said one day about one of the others "you need a nickname. Let's call you Sven." and it stuck. He was Sven ever after, LOL

Also went to college with dudes nicknamed Keebler (after the elf) and Smutty (for the sheer volume and frequency of porn...)

My bearded friend goes by the following:

Whiskers

His Bearded Majesty

etc.

That's the only interesting one.

on edit: one more interesting one, we call my friend Andy "Taco Bell" every so often after an incident with an electronic whoopie cushion and a phone call to his mother, where upon she asked him "what is that noise?" and his reply was "i ate at taco bell today"

Turbo - my friend Jim, who is severely ADD.

Dick - That's me, my real name is Richard.

Caveman - my friend Jim's dad. Think "Unfrozen Caveman Lawyer" from SNL, that's where it came from.

And our mutual best friend is South of the Border Paul.

I've been known as Kid Creole to them.

These names have no origins and no real basis. We are just strange people.

12. My friends have a lot of nicknames...
C. goes by "Quandary"
T. goes by "Tomble," which is a portmanteau made of his first and last names, sort of!
Y. goes by "Nave" or "The Sailor"
S. goes by "Tucker"

I used to have a friend who went by "Alien," but then somehow he wound up with "Bieeardo."

If people are referring to me by nickname, they call me "'bang" or "Spazz," for obvious reasons.

16. My group of friends in college had great nicknames.
Beast (when he signed up for a keg, he'd sign it B. Eastxxxx (his last name), so it became Beast.

Killer (when he was a freshman, he was so drunk he let a sure thing slip through his fingers, so the name was applied sarcastically)

Foghat (he would always play Foghat's 'I Just Want To Make Love to You' on the jukebox during lunch)

Vette (when everyone saw him driving up to school on his first day in the Corvette his dad gave him for his high school graduation)

Spaceman (we were all stoners; I think you can figure it out)

And there was a real straight kid around named Jay, who ended up with the nickname "E-Z" from the E-Z Wider rolling papers ads that would mention "E-Z Jay"

Another guy's last name was Daley and he was given the nickname "Laid."

There was another kid everyone called "Noodnik" I'm not sure why, but it fit.

Good list of nicknames.....

My brother in law is the same as your peckerneck buddy. He's god curly tight hair. Everyone called him chia-pet, until one day someone told a guy to call him that and the poor bugger got shit-kicked. He shaves his head now.
