Question for the recent Freepers registered at DU:

I'm guessing that many of us have noticed the recent influx of Freepers -- suspected, proven, or otherwise -- that have begun posting here. No user proflies (so no one knows the number of posts of the registration dates), questionable postings, that sort of thing. Personally, it doesn't bother me so much -- just don't be a total asshole and it don't bother me none, live and let live, et ct.

But my curiosity remains: Anyone else notice this, or am I losing it?

And, more importantly, WHY? WHY BOTHER POSTING HERE? Is it just that you're out on summer vacation and have nothing better to do?

They're slowly building their post count "in order to gain credibility" so that when Bush looses in November they can all disrupt simultaneously, and somehow that's supposed to stop us. The retards will probably be to busy to go out and vote. In fact, a few of them have been posting with the usernames of popular DUers, with a minor typing change here, or an underscore there. Every now and then they post something innocous, building up their count. Apparently they think we're as stupid as they are.

We all unmask on election night. Pretending to be Canadian is a good cover. Don't tell a soul, though. There's so much riding on this.

What if the Freepers go to the DU Gallery...and, um, "drool" over the pictures??
