Quick! What's my excuse?????
I am going to call in and say I can't make it to work today. I stayed up late watching The Two Towers and imbibing, and feel like doo doo. Help! What should I say? I have very little time to think about it!

1. Just say you aren't feeling well.
I'm not required to diagnose myself when calling in. If I'm sick, I just say I am sick! Leave it at that! :D

I feel so much guilt, though
that I feel the need to tell them I'm hungover and tired as hell. I have the habit of going into too much detail!

9. They like to know everything
I need to either come clean with the truth or make up some outlandish story. I like the Mars gravitational pull idea.

19. They may like to know everything,
but they are not entitled to know anything other than "I am sick, and I won't be in today. I will let you know about tomorrow, tomorrow. Thank you very much."

You've obviously been up all night with stomach cramps, vomitting, and diarrhea. You should not go to work today.

3. Mars' hightened gravitational pull has given you a wedgie...
...you'll be in as soon as it recedes to its normal distance.

15. I would gladly trade you a hangover today
for a migraine tomorrow? Hope you get feeling better! I believe I'll just walk to the edge of the earth and fall off now.

17. Be sure to lay on your back and hang your head over the side of the bed
while talking on the phone - really gives you that "i'm sick" kinda sound.

I almost wish I hadn't, because I am feeling amazingly better already. Wow. Should I call back and say I'll be in later? OOOHHHH the guilt. I haven't called in sick in almost a year.
