I use google toolbar which has a feature to kill pop ups in IE. And It integrates nicely with the browser.

5. 3 tools used together:
Spyware-Search & Destroy, SpywareGuard and SpywareBlaster, Used together and kept updated with definitions, you are spyware-bulletproof.

Gotta turn off messyenger, too, you know...

7. I started with Ad-aware
recently got spybot. The spybot got rid of a crapload of things ad-aware never saw, so I hadn't used the ad-aware for awhile. Last night, I ran spybot first, and it pronounced me clean. For the hell of it, I ran ad-aware, and it found two things. So, I guess it's good to have both around.

which is a add on over IE. It is the best browser I have seen.

It add tabs and pop-up kill to IE. I :loveya: it

I use Adware and spybot.

12. Webroot Spy Sweeper for the spyware and...
Google toolbar for the popups. The latter is free and has several other convenient features. Spy Sweeper works in the background all the time and cleans out the crap just as soon as it appears. Also protects your homepage from being hijacked. A very effective program and worth the money.
