A FANTASTIC movie!!!!

I've recommended this movie here before but every time I see it I have to recommend it all over again. Check out "Happy Accidents" with Marisa Tomei and Vincent D'Onofrio. Tomei plays Ruby Weaver, a woman with a history of getting involved with strange and screwed up men. She meets Sam Deed (D'Onofrio) who seems perfect until he starts telling her some very strange things about who he is and where he's from. It was put out by the Independent Film Channel and the timing could not have been worse--September 2001. This movie will one day be a cult classic. I'm on a one man campaign to make sure that it happens. A MUST SEE MOVIE!!! See it and spread the word.

By the way it makes for the perfect date movie and is available on video and DVD. A guy on IMBd described it as a chick flick that even guys will like.

Here's another one: DirtyPrettyThings. It's in theatres now. Directed by Steven Frears. Wonderful movie. Don't want to give too much away. But it has very interesting characters...all immigrants in London.

I'd forgotten about it until a couple nights ago when a commercial for it came on. The commercial made it look like some sort of fast paced American style thriller. I didn't get that sense of it from the reviews I read awhile back but that's probably how the powers that be think they have to market this movie to Americans.
