Petition NFL to offer streaming broadcasts of games for free
The NFL, in their short sightedness, has decided to force fans who can't get to a bar or TV to pay a ridiculous charge of $10 to listen to a radio play by play of their favorite team over the Internet. This is simply a play for the almighty dollar on the NFL's part, nothing more, nothing less.

This link is to a petition asking the NFL to reconsider its decision.

Don't know how much good this will do, but I know DUers are activists if nothing else. Make your voices heard.

1. Try this:
Don't support coporate sports teams at all. Don't watch the games, don't buy stuff with their logo. Don't go to games.

It might free up a remarkable amount of time and energy for you.

Just a suggestion.

stick your head in a fucking box 24x7... That way you won't support anything and you'll be deemed pure by a bunch of folks who try and tell others how to er...free up our time!

Watching a football game on a Sunday afternoon is quite relaxing to me and about a gazillion other fans.

Now go walk in your park and throw your frisbee...
