Poll question: Favorite song by the Dave Clark 5?

Sorry to keep dumping all these polls on you, but when it comes to the music I love, I'm obsessive/compulsive as hell!

Incidentally, any polls I conduct regarding British Invasion acts will feature the U.S. chart dates of their hits. As you may know, Brit-Rock had caught on in its homeland by 1963, a year before the Beatles, et al, hit America's shores in a big way.

They don't get enough recognition from that time, imo.

2. I still hear some of their stuff on oldies radio...

...but you're right as far as recognition goes. Over the years, rock critics have come to regard the Dave Clark Five as nothing more than a pale imitation of the Beatles. A highly unfair assessment, IMHO. Hell, if anything, the DC5 of 1964 rocked harder than the Beatles did!

Mainly because I interviewed them for a teen magazine of the time.

And also...they knew when to quit.
