Which look better, the color or the b/w images?

2. 1st one color, 2nd B&W
It depends on how graphic you want to be. The top one doesn't have as many interesting shades of grey as the secound. The 2nd is a great B&W pic.

6. The one Norm Coleman used to be mayor of...
You can't see all the "for lease" and "for rent" signs which are quite common in St. Paul...

But at last we got the Xcel Energy center, which thankfully isn't in the photograph! :D It's a waste of energy, what with those gigantic color screens showing a couple seconds of sports clips when breaking away from the constant stream of advertisements...

7. well they are very nice photographs...
I especially like bridges.... here in the Pittsburgh area we have over 5000 of different shapes and sizes...

both are much better with color. The color is realy great in the first one, and the glare of the lighes in the second one is kinda annoying, besides the color makes it look better...

11. Honestly I like all four images equally
Nice work! Are those photos analogue or digital?

I had an opportunity in college to shoot a 16mm B/W film and loved it. It was my first serious film, a short called 'Rail' about trains. B/W is really fun to work with but is IMO much harder to get correct. You have to be very precise with your light meter.
