Christmas songs whose lyrics never mention the holiday.
Four come to mind:

FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
JINGLE BELLS
A MARSHMALLOW WORLD
WINTER WONDERLAND

Any others?

6. No, that song mentions Christmas.
"...there'll be scary ghost stories and tales of the glories of Christmases long long ago...."

(But, yes, you do have the title right.)

16. Some sources say that the Feast of Stephen
takes place on Christmas Eve; others say it takes place on December 26.

It's a feast commemorating St. Stephen.

18. Thanks. So whichever, it doesn't mention Christmas. >
Unless it's in some obscure, typically unsung verse.

What do I win?

I don't think the word "Christmas" appears in the song.

I don't know what you win, but are you sharing the spoils?

28. It's been longer than that, but I've only been aware of it
as a Christmas song for maybe four or five years.

To me, it's a lovely little song sung by Julie Andrews in The Sound Of Music.

30. We Wish You The Merriest
Unless "Yule" counts, in which case we have to scratch Deck The Halls off the list too, for saying "Yuletide."

But if we're just going with the actual word "Christmas", then we're good.

32. "Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day"
Edited on Thu Dec-02-04 11:50 PM by CBHagman
I love the Baltimore Consort's version of that on the album "Bright Day Star."

English 19th century, arr. by Watts

Tomorrow shall be my dancing day,
I would my true love did so chance
To see the legend of my play,
And call my true love to my dance.

Chorus:
Sing O my love, O my love, my love, my love
This have I done for my true love.

Then was I born of virgin pure,
Of her I took fleshly substance.
Thus was I knit to man's nature,
To call my true love to my dance.

Chorus

In manger laid and wrapped I was,
So very poor this was my chance,
Betwixt an ox and a silly poor ass,
To call my true love to my dance.

Chorus

Tomorrow shall be my dancing day,
I would my true love did so chance
To see the legend of my play,
And call my true love to my dance.

Chorus
