What does your computer screen look like?
Windows, Mac, Linux, Amiga, Vaporware 4000, et cetera, show us your top! Desktop, that is!

It does work in Crossover Office, albeit with a few screen bugs - I'd say it's worth a "Silver" in terms of compatibility rating. I'll be trying XenoDream tomorrow.

17. I was hoping somebody'd catch that... See,
I was watching "In Living Color" and they had the Milli Vanilli skit. I didn't remember when Milli Vanilli got busted (1992?) so I lookd it up.

I ultimately forgot to check that page, despite pulling it up in the first place. :crazy:

27. I suspected that...
it was deliberately left there... :)I guess I was wrong.

I'm a big fan of screen shots because I am a bit of a voyeur. These are windows to people I don't know. Very interesting to see what programs, backgrounds, OSs, and the sort people are using.

14. I loved my ibook G3 800
but the mainboard melted three times...fixed for free everytime, but a hassle, I hear the G4's fixed this problem though...

26. Cool, here's how:
Put up (or minimize or close) any folders/programs you like.

Then hit the PRINT SCRN key.

Now click the START button, click RUN, and type in "MSPAINT".

Hit CTRL-V to paste the desktop image.

Now save it.

Try to save it as a JPG format image, using a high quality (80 or 85) setting.

Then go to http://www.imgspot.com and upload it. When the successful page is displayed, copy the URL at the bottom (starts with 'http://www.imgspot.com/... ') and paste it onto a new message here on DU.

mitosis is a Gentoo (Linux) system running kernel 2.4.20-gentoo-r5. My window/desktop manager is a KDE 3.2/3.3 hybrid.

My desktop's native size is 1792x1344, but I decreased it to 1024x768 for bandwith considerations.

P.S: Just to keep the flamewar going... GNOME SUCKS! :D

But, OS 9 is snappy on a beige G3. Tabs, pop-up-blocking, Photoshop, BBedit, and Candy Crisis. All I need. I do miss the terminal..
