Rant here about Christmas!
Why do people have to decorate their homes to look like a circus? My neighbors house has tons of blinking lights and inflatable characters. There is no subtilty! It's sad. I love the look of an old fashion Christmas. The decorations of the 1930s/1940s had more.....heart.

2. A nicely lit tree...
a wreath on the door.. That's what I like to see. I don't like those inflatable snowmen etc.

A tree lit outside is nice too, but that's all.

8. I love a good rant every now and then.
I live in a town where people are total morans behind the wheel of a moving vehicle to start with. Add to that ALL the extra people because of holiday vacations, outside visitors and school is out ... not to mention the holiday shoppers who are out in hordes, it's complete and utter insanity out there! It's been foggy and rainy and I swear to glory, if you want to go anywhere, you'd better own a helicopter.

Where, I ask you, where did all these people come from?

I have not wanted to brave the stores yet either. Therefore, I will probably be one of the total to be shopping on xmas eve :eyes:

I did all my shopping online. Although, i do have to pick up something at Best Buy on Tue. :scared:
