'Sexy Duppy Singles'

Sigh. I hate the paid ads at Google. So I googled the word "duppy," 'cuz I'm trying to remember what the hell show it was I remember that word from as a kid - some weird something or other, or fantastic filthflarn bajibbity or something. I think it was Senor Spielbergo who did the show. Had a cool theme song, and various stories every week. The one I'm thinking of involved a babysitter (I think) from the islands. I couldn't find what I was looking for googling "duppy." I found out that a duppy is a sort of ghost in Caribbean mythic tradition. And I found an ad for "sexy duppy singles." Sigh.

Is it an acronym like buppie, guppy etc?

I'm not at all sure I really want to know just what, exactly, are "sexy duppy singles!" Of course, having been a resident of singlesland all of my adult life, NOTHING surprises me about it anymore!
