Do you think AC/DC has put out the same album every time they released one
?

I mean, stylistically, they haven't changed a lick in over 30 years. And a lot of the albums have the same hard rock sound. However, "Highway to Hell" and "Back in Black" are considered to be their best albums, especially the latter of the two albums. And they stand out. Nothing else they did and almost nothing anybody else did in hard rock or heavy metal matches them. What do you think?

1. I think they are sub-par...
Thier guitarist is good, that I'll give them that. As you stated, however, alot of his riffs sounds alike.

I cannot speak on the bassist. But whoever that dude is they got to replace Bon is horrendous. His voice sounds like... I dunno... if you taught a parrot how to sing and put him in a rock band.

And Phil Rudd.... Phillllllll Rudd. He never deviates from the standard 4/4, yet is given numerous accolades by the drumming community, of which I am a part. They say he is great in that he has chops from here to Shangai, but he knows when to keep it simple. Well, I say I have never witnessed any of these chops, and it doesn't take any sense to "know when to keep it simple" when you keep it simple all of the time. He is the C.C. Deville of the drumkit.

2. All of the Brian Johnson albums are basically the same
...But that's not at all true of the 6 albums they did with Bon. If you listened to their debut album "High Voltage" (the 1975 Australian release) you would never know it was the same band that did Highway to Hell - if not for Bon's unmistakable voice.
