Poll question: Ridgely, Messina, Garfunkle and Oates. Pick the weakest supergroup member.

Second bananas or misunderstood geniuses? The heart and pulse of the band (or duos) they were in or just along for the ride?

If Andrew Ridgely (WHAM!), Jim Messina (Buffalo Springfield, Poco, Loggins & Messina), Art Garfunkle (Simon & Garfunkle) and John Oates (Hall & Oates) formed a band, who's the one guy that would keep them from being a "super" supergroup?

1. Not surprising that Andrew Ridgely is winning...I mean, he and George
made a cute, 80's, openly gay couple, but that was it.

Still, he does know how to hold a guitar on stage and look as if he's actually playing it!

7. I should have used a scarcastic punctuation--they LOOKED it,
although I guess they weren't. They were a couple, though, because only people who are romantically involved break up so bitterly!

4. Get out!!!!!!
No kidding?

The eighties is a decade I took a 10 year sabbatical from popular culture. Cabin in the hills. No electricity.

Most the time I dont think I missed much, but I still get surprised!

6. Ridgely is definitely the weakest of the four.
Most people can remember Simon & Garfunkel, Hall & Oates, and Loggins & Messina. Wham! seems to be reduced to "George Michael and that other guy."

9. How do I vote for all of them?.............

ya picked of bunch of winners there! The name 'super group' implies a group of superstars, while in your group, Garfunkle is the closest to super,HAHA!

Heck, even if you took the 'stars' not the 2nds from the groups you listed, supergroup would be a h u g e s t r e t c h!

David
And some tourist started screamin',
"Hey, ain't you that guy in Wham?"
