Does anyone get tired of politics?
I do. I mean, I come here, and sometimes I get so tired of the same old stuff. If there was something that we could do to change things that would be great, but nothing will change what is going on.. Do you relate?

2. Of course. That's what the Lounge is for.
To blow off steam when you are sick of talking politics, but a place to hang with similarly-minded folk.

5. It can exhaust you, but DU is an escape w/like-minded friends
as the previous poster wrote, you can visit the other forums (thanks, mods) and have a respite to talk other subjects, but be comfortable knowing you are "with" like-minded folks.

I like the pop-culture forums (movies, TV, books) for a break.

Politics can absolutely drain you, but it is a strange thing in that you never really get it out of your blood. To be a well-rounded person, we have to force ourselves into the other areas of life to maintain perspective.
