Yup, bathing is the way to go. That is, after all, why the Airplane called that album "After Bathing At Baxters." The label made them drop the "in Pachoulli" from the title, it just wouldn't fit on the album cover :)

just a dab.

After 14 days, nine states, 23 bands, two mistimeaner charges and a missing goat ... pour it on.

Nothing says "I haven't seen hot water or soap in three months" like a nose full of patchouli.

16. hmmm,
i don't normally wear patchouli, i'm more of the "egytian goddess" type but, a dab or two behind the ears and on the neck are good.
