Is it possible to pull a chest muscle?
I've got an ache in my chest, just right of center over my right breast. It doesn't hurt constantly, but when I put any pressure on my arms or try to pick up anything.

Are these my pectoral muscles? Is it possible to pull a pectoral muscle?

1. Yes, I have and it is not pleasant.
Take some ibuprofen and drink a lot of water!

3. Sure you can!
Some people pul chest muscles when they have a cold, coughing can cause it, or lifting something heavy can do it too!

Hope you feel better soon! :)

7. I'm not sure
Has it been long? If not, then you may have worked out too much and it'll go away in a few days. If it's longer than that, it might be serious.

10. If it's a skeletal muscle, you can pull it
take ibuprofin. If it hurts too bad, see your doctor and they can provide muscle relaxers to help the healing process, and don't do any heavy lifting.

11. Yes it's called costochondritis...take motrin 800 mg and use a heating
pad for 30 minutes at a time. It can take a while to heal since you constantly aggravate it simply due to the respiratory cycle.

13. It's most likely costochondritis
inflamation of the joint between the rib and the sternum. Push on it. If it hurts like hell, that's it.
