the more I'm thinking it really is just THE biggest "fuck you" to the fundies EVER.

Kid Rock's audience are disaffected, uneducated, dead end rural nobodies joining in for a few minutes of triumphal rocking. They are exactly the working class (if working) people getting screwed by the Bushco policies, but are going to admire Bush for being the mean sonofabitch he is, and more importantly, susceptible to the cultural hatred of all those snotnose college people who live in big cities and don't rock. I suppose nobody can expect them to vote much, but clearly Bush expects them in his camp.

It is the people of Kansas voting republican all over again.

I really want him to play the inauguration, myself. He is IMO perfect! Just what the gala event calls for, more hate, violence and amoral behavior.
