My Favorite Mel Brooks Movie Is
History Of The World: Part I

How we doin', any converts today?"
Not a one! Nay, nay, nay."
We flattened their fingers. We branded their buns!
Nothing is working! Send in the nuns!

The Inquisition, what a show.
The Inquisition, here we go.
We know you're wishin' that we'd go away!
So all you Muslims and you Jews
We got big news for all of yous:
You'd better change your point of views TODAY!
Cause the Inquisition's here...
And it's here to STAY!

My second favorite Mel Brooks' film is YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN! The only one I could never get into was Men In Tights... it was okay... but nothing I'd ever view often enough to memorize every line.

7. Awesome movie! Star Wars deserved a parody and needs one more than ever!
Spaceballs II is due out this summer too.

I hope it does more than be a typical brainless sequel; Brooks' movies of the last 10 years have been uber-lame. And that would be hard to do because SW episodes 1-3 are utter shit, deliciously ripe to be lampooned.

My favorites are Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, and History of the World.

His only really bad one was Dracula: Dead and Loving It.

24. Oh, I liked the parody of the shower scene from "Psycho"
with director Barry Levinson playing the put up hotel bellhop.

Also, you've got to like Cloris Leachman as Nurse Diesel...:-)

22. They're all pretty great, in my book.
Spaceballs was the first Brooks movie I saw, so it has a special place in my heart. Young Frankenstein and History of the World: Part I are movies in which my dad and I bonded. Blazing Saddles is just classic.

I suppose I though Silent Movie was kind of blah. I need audio. Men in Tights was okay, but it wasn't Brooks' best, by far. Still, it has its moments.
