What drugs were your family on during the Civil War?

My family wouldn't have been drinking that, I imagine they'd be drinking water and whatever kind of cheap liquor they let the slaves have.

And actually some of my fam was Scottish, so they were prolly over in the old country having an ale of some sort.

14. Gin
We were kicked out of every state for our "appreciation" of Gin. Great great great grandfather died at Andersonville after being captured at Gettysburg -- I don't think they gave him gin, maybe that is why he died.
