Have you ever had to cut off contact with a parrot?
"It's not pinin,' it's passed on! This parrot is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late parrot! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed him to the perch he would be pushing up the daisies! Its metabolical processes are of interest only to historians! It's hopped the twig! It's shuffled off this mortal coil! It's rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible! This.... is an EX-PARROT!" - Monty Python, The Parrot Sketch.

3. Actually, yes
Had a military macaw named Louie who my late partner hand raised. The bird loved Mike, hated me. After Mike died a year ago, I couldn't get rid of that bird fast enough (gave him away to a couple who just love him).

It was also really creepy because Louie could imitate Mike's voice.

4. Actually yes
At my old workplace we had a parrot for a mascot, and it was the most annoying bird I've ever known. He would walk around the office and poop everywhere and jump up on desks and eat pens and anything plastic. The last straw was when he bit my earlobe and drew blood. I had to draw the line there.

I don't hate parrots in general, but that guy was just annoying.
