I just miss out on so much: rivalries, stalkings, vendettas, ignores, alerts... Whoosh! Right over my head.

It seems that a lot of times I see something that I think is controversial. Then I leave, come back later, and find out that it really *was* controversial... but then I'm in the dark as to how it was resolved.

Then there are the times that I unwittingly stumble into some peoples' inside joke or alternative persona. That's always embarassing, and sometimes people get really mad. I have to remind myself not to post in the lounge as much.

I used to be here 24/7 having the best time. And sometimes I hated it too. But mostly I love this place. I even moderated for a bit.

In May of 2003 something personal happened that changed my life and took me away from DU. Now I come back and I don't know anyone and have no idea what the hell is going on.

I feel lost here. And I feel out of touch for sure.

There is so much to catch up on it's overwhelming.

Anyway, you're not alone.
