Daily Show last night
Jon Had Scarborough on last night.
Stewart did a pretty good job cutting him down here and there.

Scarborough was trying to say he was on noone's side politically and that he calls this admin out on certain issues such as economy and environmental issues. All I ever got from his show is that he hides dark secrets deep down and that his schtick is making fun of Jeannine Garafolo every day.

It's worth checking out in reruns today 6 or 7 p.m.

1. It was pathetic
Scarborough was so intent on justifying his schtick that he didn't even recognize that Stewert was ripping him.

This guy doesn't have a clue!

2. If there's one thing I REALLY miss at college
it's the Daily Show.

We don't get Comedy Central here.

I would've liked to see Scarborough get quietly wailed on by Jon. Damn. :-)

3. Jon RIPPED Scarborough!
And Scarborough didn't even have a clue.
Scarborough kept bringing up a poll done in Iraq supposedly showing how much they love us.
Watch for Jon's response to that one.
That guy is a definitely one of us.

7. Scarborough not having a clue
was almost as funny as Jon's comments themselves.

6. JS, As Always, Was a Joy to Watch
He's so low-key and so much smarter than Snarlborough. The interviews with celebrity buddies are fun, but I love it when he hands some blowhard their ass.

How about the Colbert Report?! Right before Snarlborough, too.

11. Now I wish I'd seen it.
Two seconds after Scarborough started talking, I said "I'm not gonna listen to this wad" and changed the channel.

As a (former) long-time Leno fan, I have a strict policy of only watching the comedy segments on late-night shows and turning off the TV as soon as the guests come on, because that usually means the entertaining portion of the show is over. Now that I've started watching the Daily Show seriously, I may have to amend that.

12. You missed out!
Like you, I ordinarily turn off the TV after the first sketches and skip the interview, but this one was worth it. Catch the rerun tonight, if you can.
