Halloween costumes often run to horrific taste, and if you are at the party, you are in on the joke.

But if you are a public figure, and are going to end up in the papers, you know someone is going to be offended EVEN IF they know it is a costume party.

The last costume party I went to was in college, and there were at least three Klinghoffers in wheelchairs. Sick? You bet. Anyone hurt? Not in that ill crowd of boozers.

It was Hitler, certain members of his command, and the SS that were able to brainwash people into do this. I am sure some Nazis did it willingly, but if you talk to a Holocaust survivors, they speak of Nazis who helped them and took big risks for the Jews. The survivor I know, dose not hate the Nazis which many might expect, but realizes that they were doing what they were told. I think people need to get over the fact that the Nazis killed so many and put it where it belongs, in history. It is like the Confederate flag issue.
