Seriously...I'm lucky if I can get up this early on a work day. This is RIDICULOUS! I wanna sleep in more!

2. Didja have to use the bathroom?
I woke up at the time I wake up for work (thanks, internal clock), but after remembering that it was Saturday I fell back to sleep for another few hours.

If I have to use the facilities, that's when I wake up and can't go back to sleep.

7. Well...not so bad that it would have woken me up...
It might have had something to do with the fact that I fell asleep with the TV on last night. I rarely ever do that, but I was exhausted.

Hmmm...maybe I SHOULD take a nap.

4. I had an appointment with the optometrist at 8 this morning.
So I've been up and at 'em since 7. But then again, I'm a morning person.

Take naps. They're fun!

8. Mine wakes me up @ 6 AM every day
Weekend or no. Doesn't matter what time I go to bed either.

I think it's a conditioned response to my alarm clock that I set for 6:30 AM on weekdays. It's extremely loud and jarring and I almost have a heart attack if I do let it wake me up, so I naturally wake up a few minutes before it goes off so I can keep it from ringing.

9. How old are you?
At some point in the life cycle it's simply impossible to sleep in.

I was a champion sleeper in my youth, meaning all the way through my twenties. I could and often did sleep nine, ten, twelve hours or more. I might get up to go to the bathroom at some point, but then could go back to sleep. It was wonderful!

Then I entered my thirties, had two kids, and suffered the sleep deprivation having kiddies entails. Well, they're now just about grown and out of the house, and I can rarely sleep more than six hours straight through. It's sad.

And I don't nap well, either.

10. Early? 9:00?
7:00 or 7:30 is serious sleeping in for me.
