Just got a brief report on Kef's service

There were several nice eulogies, your book was very nice - as was your tribute. Malloy's was a little bit hard to hear until we got the sound turned up, so some of us missed the beginning.

Janet and I were unable to get to the service, but managed to get a FedEx package with the memory book and CD for the service! I will post a link to the audio tomorrow, and as soon as I can PDF the Corel 10 file, the book will be online...

is grateful for the work you (lovingly) put into this. thank you for the update.

It was a special day of DUers and Kephra's family and friends coming together to share stories and tributes.

Skinner and Hippiechick as well as several others spoke very well and shared many remembrances. (Nice book).

Seeing how DUers affected Kephra's family and vice-versa created an image of how connected the world is - that you don't get every day.

visitation. There were a number of people from DU and all were just terrific and someone had brought the eye of Horus stickers for us to wear. Kef's mom was so sweet and beautiful, she looked way too young to have a 37 year old son.

I miss Kef every time I go to LBN, I find myself still looking for his name.

That was so lovely that someone had taken the time to get eye of horus stickers for all the DUers that attended. I just want you all to know how highly it speaks of the entire DU community that people stand behind eachother. My thoughts & prayers are with all of you- and his mom.

In the spirit of DU and our Indy gatherings, some political planning DID happen last evening at the pub (Scott would approve - when the 4 of us were together talk always turned to 'taking over the world') ... IndianaGreen and I decided that we are going to 'help' (uuhhhh ... read that, 'MAKE') Voltaire run for office next cycle.

Not sure which, yet, but ... keep an eye on the Indiana forum.

street(I think) that day on the way home we saw that there was an anti-abortion group lining the street.. I told hippiechick that my sons friend Sarah got so angry she threw coat hangers at them.
