Colts or Patriots? Who and why?
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 10:30 AM by Seabiscuit
This game is the real 2005 Super Bowl to me. It could be a real barn burner. If I were a gambling man I don't know who I'd put my money on.

I would venture a prediction, though: whatever team wins this game today is going to win the Super Bowl.

1. Colts.
They've had a good season; Manning's had a great season; it's time for a new champ.

4. Colts
Revenge is sweet. Patriots won't stop colts receivers this time. Manning will protect the ball.

Whoever wins the game today will lose the superbowl to the Philadelphia Eagles.

5. It's going to snow in Foxboro, and it's only 24 degrees
the weather is not on the Colts' side!

We're supposed to get 4-8" south of the city-which means Foxboro Stadium.

7. Beautiful Kitty Kats!
I don't think the weather will be a factor.

9. The weather has always been a factor-Manning also hasn't fared well
in Foxboro.

Thank you-Reno and Noah are sweet boys!

10. "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue"
Edited on Sun Jan-16-05 08:32 PM by Seabiscuit
Walking off the field after the Colts' 20-3 loss to the Patriots, was a Colts player with the name "Snow" on his back. Kind of said it all. Manning and the Colts were "snowed under" in Foxboro today. 3 points???

"This sky, too, is folding under you
And it’s all over now, baby blue."

The baby blue and white Colts and their fans must be feeling kinda' black & blue right now, with their Superbowl dreams buried under a blizzard of Patriots' defenders.

Kinda' sad. I could have seen the Colts snuffing the Steelers and slaughtering the Eagles or Falcons in the Superbowl. But once again they couldn't get past Foxboro in the snow.

Tom Brady didn't beat them today - defense and coaching - and the *weather* did.

11. what's up colts fans? why predict a known choker who can't perform when
it counts? Peyton is the same QB he'll always be: a self-righteous, personal-accomplishment oriented, pompous ass, who can't perform when it counts.
