bushbots really HATE passive aggressive behavior.

Don't we all, but I think it especially pisses them off.

I was sitting at a red light this morning. Noticed as I came up to it that the car to my left had a big bush sticker on it. Woman driving the car looked to be in her mid-20s.

I suddenly remembered something a DUer posted here about what they did before the election. And I decided to do it, too, but with a twist. She looked harmless. I was feeling a bit daring.

So I rolled down my window, motioned for her to, looked alarmed.

I yelled out, really disgusted and freaked out:

"UM, HEY DID YOU KNOW SOMEONE PUT A **BUSH** STICKER ON YOUR CAR??"

When I said "bush sticker" I sounded like I was saying "gob of snot."

She looked confused for a split second and yelled "Yeah, *I* did!"

I looked shocked, laughed nervously, said "Oh my GOD, I'm SO SORRY, I just thought you looked...NICE. But OBVIOUSLY I WAS WRONG! Sorry!"

I smiled. Rolled up my window. I said all this very sincerely, no hint of sarcasm at all.

Light turned green. She looked completely pissed. I took off.

I hate to say it, but that really felt good.

I don't know if you ever saw the Howard Dean story from a couple of months ago. He did a small rally in Denver and I went up to him after the rally and said "I just wanted to tell you that you are one of two people that inspired me to get involved." Dean said "Well, thanks. I appreciate that." THen I said "Bush was the other one." He and a bunch of people that were standing there laughted really hard.

I remember the other post, I believe that person got a hamburger thrown at them. I'm glad you made it through unscathed.

but I remembered his description so vividly. The girl threw her hamburger at him, getting mustard on his khakis, but she had only taken about a bite and there was a cop a couple of cars behind them who pulled her over.

It was hilarious and I've always wanted to try it.
