I dreamed I was the new, female John Denver. How's that for weird?
Edited on Tue Jan-18-05 09:11 AM by Bouncy Ball
I was singing in night clubs and my stepmother was there (I never see her in real life), giving me weird looks from the audience.

I was singing "Take Me Home, Country Roads" and I had round wire-frame glasses, my hair was cut in a pageboy, and I was wearing men's clothing.

Weirdest freaking dream.

What was your most bizarre dream? (Keep it clean, kids!)

2. The fuel tank switch.
Always check its location before takeoff.

(Okay, yeah, I know it was sick. But I was a big fan in the 70's, if that counts for anything.)

John Deutchendorf, aka Denver, was a distant cousin. Never knew him.

9. I dreamed that I was in a hotel room with some former buddies
and that we were all waiting for a drug deal to go down. When I went to use the phone because the dealer was late I found that it did not work because the cheap bastard who rented the room didn't put the deposit down for the phone. Then I woke up and realized that I had dreamed a memory.

I used to be a wild one, but I'm afraid that my wild days are behind me. I've had enough excitement for one lifetime.

10. one of my most bizarre dreams
too many to list . . .

Where I went to college, there was Lower Campus -- where the academic buildings, student union, etc., were -- and Upper Campus -- where the dorms were. The dorms were accessed by a series of very long, very steep stairways. It was an incredible drag to have to climb all those steps. Many people never went back to their dorm rooms before dinner because of it.

In my room, I had an aquarium. One night I dreamed that I made the slow climb from class to the dorm. It was a massive heat wave -- common in the fall -- and I was miserable. I dragged myself into the dorm and down the hall to my room.

I opened the door and found that the lid to the aquarium was open and all the fish were out, swimming around in the air. They all got this sheepish look on their little fish faces, then lined up and one by one "plop!" "plop!" "plop!" jumped back into the water. The lid closed automatically after the last one.

More than 20 years later that dream still cracks me up whenever I think of it.

13. then there's the recurring nightmare, in which
I must -- must! now! -- get to Target in a rowboat to buy sour cream. I am in the middle of the road in front of an ex-girlfriend's house. Sitting in the rowboat. Rowing frantically because I must get to Target. And there's no water.

I have never dreamed of gay bar hopping, but that would be really interesting. And I hope Stan NEVER shows up in my dreams at ALL. Gag.
