Amazing premonition:
I'm watching "The Strange Love of Martha Ivers" on TCM.
Never seen it before.
There is a heated confrontation between an older woman and a girl.
I think "the old woman is going to slap her face."
A minute later she does.
Weird feeling.

1. As a kid, I remember thinking...

"I bet there's going to be a lightsaber fight in this movie," when Dad took me to see Return of the Jedi.

2. Did something similar in 1980 -- an episode of Buck Rogers
At the end of the episode, Buck is in a hospital bed, recovering. The nurse, an old lady, goes around complaining of Buck's unwillingness to follow her orders or something. She turns around and goes away.

I think "he's going to say 'she loves me'."
Two seconds later, he does.
Weird feeling.

3. It's not wierd,, it's predictable
I tell my family all the time what is going to be said or happen next not because I'm psycic but because I've seen enough similar programs over the years that I can write the scripts by now.

4. I say that a lot. "I could write these."
And I think I could.
So why don't I get off my dead ass and do it?
