Fred fired Serena!

Damn, man. I just watched this on Tivo last night.

She will be back as a defense attorney. She has to be. Can't wait.

And Serena's a lesbian?! Did you know that?

I used to hate her, but she grew on me. I still miss Claire Kincaid.

1. Ms. Kincaid was cool, but a bit strident sometimes.
I think they used her character as a platform a bit too often, and it took away from her character as a full fledged human being. But still, she was one of my favorite assistant DAs.

2. truth to tell, I think I miss her more because
her character was killed by a drunk driver.

I watch "Crossing Jordan" now mainly for Jill Hennessey. The plots are getting thinner and dumber, and the dialog more, hmm... more lowest-common-denominator.

4. Yeah, Crossing Jordan has some sub-par writing.
I could tell right away, and it was too bad, really.

3. Well it was common knowledge that Serena was out,but the
ending was ridiculous. L&O is one of my favorites but their writers sure as hell should do better than they did on that show!

I liked Carey Lowell the best! Jill Hennessey can't act as she is proving in "Ctossing Jordan".

Of course without Lenny the heart has gone out of the show IMHO!

5. I don't think it was common knowledge
I was surpised.

With Lenny gone, the whole world has lost part of its heart.

7. They even advertised it as Serena's last show--- and it had been in
some newspapers and websites prior to that time.

I'm usually the one that is out of the loop,so figured that if I knew it,everyone knew it.LOL

8. Ah! That's it. We watch nearly EVERYTHING on Tivo, FFwd through
all commercials. And neither of us reads "E" news. So it was my turn to be out of the loop!

But did you know she was gay? I hadn't a clue.

9. No,there was no discussion or reference to her sexuality-ever!
My daughter called me as soon as the show ended and our reactions were "Huh?" and "What the hell?" etc.

The writers must have had a bad day!

10. I thought it was weird because Thompson's character is conservative
(as is Thompson IRL). Maybe they're setting up for a discrimination lawsuit? God, I hope not. I thought he was sincere when he said, "no, that's not why," and I felt her asking was just out of shock.

Weird ending.

But I do appreciate how NBC writers are keeping MY AGENDA before the nation's television viewers. ;)

11. That's exactly what my daughter said---lawsuit?
I'm in Massachusetts so your agenda is settled here.

Everything takes time---sometimes too much time.

13. I heard she wanted out because Thompson's real life conservatism was
crawling into the show too much and her beliefs are discounted

14. Did you know that on one episode of L&O, Jill Hennesy was unavailable
due to illness or a movie obligation(can remember which), and her twin sister stood in and did the episode in her place? Noboby knew it till years later when that info was released on a website.
