The Brotherhood of Poland New Hampshire - any viewers here?
I have watched the first two episodes and I like it so far.

Some of the situations seem a little too contrived, but that is what gives it some of the quirkiness that Northern Exposure had. Although, I do not think it is nearly as 'out there' as Northern Exposure was in that regard.

So far, I like Dennis Quaid the best. The actress who plays Dottie is good too.

I really don't think Garrett should have told his wife, and now that he has I don't see why it such a big deal that he had a fling during an estrangement that was 6 years ago. That was a short-lived 'affair' at that. One month? I hardly call that an affair given the estrangement.

Any opinions here ? Like it, love it, leave it ?

1. Saw it for first time
last night. will probably watch again. Agree about the Northern Exposure tone, but not as good as NE. Maybe if they throw in a bit of "Picket Fences" - (remember that one?) it will make me a fan. Parts of it were lame and parts were terrific.

4. well, seeing as picket fences
was also David Kelley, the chance of that is good.

frankly, I find the characters boorish and boring. but that's just me.

3. I live in NH
and I couldn't make it through all of the first episode. While I tend to like ensemble cast programs, this one just didn't do it for me. Making the experience a little less pleasant too, is that I am the oldest of three brothers, roughly the same age span as those on the show.

We get along waaaay better than they do.
