5. Political
1) All the members of the Bush family suddenly want desperately to tell the whole truth about their lives, in public, on the record.
2) No-one stops them.
3) Everyone finds out what they say.

9. Three wishes
Edited on Thu Jan-20-05 01:16 AM by Heaven and Earth
My first wish would be for wisdom and courage for world leaders.

My second wish would be for jobs for the poor.

My third wish would be that I find my true love and she reciprocates.

15. I'd wish for a lot more wishes
and then I'd wish for a lot of money

and then I'd wish that people wouldn't always ask me to give them some of my money (Yes, I intend to share, but I don't want to be harassed)

Then I'd wish for an attractive liberal man who didn't know I won the lottery to fall in love with me

Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 07:54 PM by medeak
my Dad died before I could meet him. but met the family and it's unbelievably hard to walk in not knowing the dynamics of family relationships.

Best friend found her parents and was deeply deeply depressed over it. Nearly ruined her life (and she was social worker with terrific skills)

34. Meh. You don't know anything about it.
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 08:06 PM by Cadence

Edit: After you're edit. I wish you had said all of that up front. My situation is different. I knew my real parents when I was little but I was raised by people that weren't my real parents, were really abusive and lied to me about my past. I'm pretty sure my real parents are dead. I just want to know who they were and where they are.

I hadn't thought about it not being a good re-union with any extended family. The "family" I had always felt so foreign and weird that, I thought if I met my real one it would have to feel better than that.

29. I got one that beats all of yours...seriously...and only in one wish
Edited on Fri Jan-21-05 07:50 PM by TroubleMan
I would wish that any question that I would want to know the answer to, I would know the answer and in a way that's straightfowrard easily understandable to me.

So then I'd ask myself....

What's the winning lottery numbers?

How can I talk two supermodels into having a threesome with me?

How can I end poverty and war in one year without hurting or killing anybody?

How can I live forever, while still being myself?

What's the cure for (insert disease name here)?

Who's gonna win the Superbowl? (Then bet lots of money)

What other planets are immediately habitable for humans, and how can I construct a machine that will get humans there safely within a week with no bad environmental or devastating effects?

ect. ect.

You be able to grant your own wishes anytime you would like, and you can know anything you want to know.

Knowledge is the ultimate wish.
