This is the most fun DU has been in weeks, with all the piling on.

Karma? Chickens coming home to roost? Give an asshole an inch and he'll take a mile? Whatever your means of explaining the Rush Implosion this week, let us all revel in our glee! Or glee in our revel.

Which I would never ever claim is free of corporate spin and such - it's Westinghouse owned, but the reports I got from them are that Rush is allegedly addicted to prescription painkillers he illegally obtained, with OxyContin being the only one specifically cited.

so I wouldn't actually bet the house on it. Still, they've been around a long time, they're about due to get one right. The media is reporting it....there is an ongoing investigation, and Pigboy is involved.

His lawyers are making nervous statements.

Been waiting years and years to see Mr. Pilodinal Cyst get his much deserved comeuppance. Like the typical playground bully, he is at heart a coward who can dish it out but not take it. Let's see how he takes it. Methinks he can't. Hopefully, he will take his millions and crawl into a hole and disappear, popping out only occasionally to take the big speaking fee from the thuggish right.

What we have is 10 Democratic Presidential candidates bashing Bush, an astounding $87B request from the American people so the Bush Administration can figure out what to do about Iraq, American troops being killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, no end in sight, GIs pissed of at Bush, the press is beginning to understand that Bush is in over his head and beginning to report the truth, AND 32,000 (and growing)DUers are cranking up to fight the right! Yeeee-Haww!
