Oranges or Grapefruits?
OK, it,s our National Day of Mourning, and it's also Not One Damn Dime Day. So I'm not leaving the house. I'm going out in the back yard, pick either grapefruits or oranges, juice them and mix with vodka for the rest of the day.

Which should I choose?

BTW, they're not really oranges, but honeybell tangelos. Very, very sweet.

4. you know what would make a good breakfast?
you could do this a day or two in advance I think. fill a hypodermic needle (a few times) with good vodka and inject it right into the greapfruit. This way you only have to peel and eat and you can take them anywhere. In fact, why stop at breakfast.

3. the more sour grapefruit seems to fit the day.
save the sweet honeybell tangelos for a more sunshiney day.

btw, you are one lucky dawg to just be able to pick your own grapefruit and oranges to juice :) what kind of juicer do you have?

6. Grapefruit!
I just love grapefruit, and eat one a day when they're in season. One of my pipe dreams is to build a greenhouse big enough to grow my own in Mass :-)
