The neo-con's favorite pasttime is coming up with garbage excuses for their ridiculous, unAmerican positions.

For example, when Barbara Boxer asked Condi Rice why on EARTH she wrote a letter to oppose legislation passed unanimously by the Senate condeming the use of torture, Rice responded that we shouldn't afford the protections of the Geneva Convention to terrorists.

Democrats can say something as banal and obvious as "It's wrong to kill babies," and a Republican will come up with some reason to prove the righteousness of infanticide.

So, DUers, in this thread we put forth fairly obviously true blanket statements, and then come up with the opposing disingenuous (and sometimes hilarious!) neo-con spin!
